Nicola has been studying and practicing yoga and mediation for the over 20 years and teaching for 12 years. As a Yoga Alliance Senior Teacher she teaches Yoga as a healing modality, providing the space for transformational change.
Nicola’s classes and workshops create optimal space to build awareness of the body and mind, and a greater understanding of our self. Learning to take these calm and aware feelings from the yoga class into everyday life brings enormous benefits.
These active and insightful yoga classes involve postures and sequences, which assist in building flexibility, strength and stamina in the entire system. Restorative postures allow the body to rest, release and rejuvenate.
Breathing techniques, called Pranayama are conducted both within the postures and separately, seated or lying down.
Relaxation and meditation help you to step away from the chattering mind and get in touch with the calmness, peace and true connectedness within.
Yoga is for all every one of all ages and abilities and Nicola welcomes complete beginners to all her classes. Classes respect all individual needs and provide a therapeutic system for the body, mind and emotions.
Nicola runs regular classes, workshops and day retreats as well as private classes either face to face or via Skype.

Nicola is also highly trained and experienced specialising in yoga for pregnancy, postnatal yoga and childbirth preparation classes. She is also a certified Doula, having trained with Michel Odent.
